Willoughby 19th January 1973 - 4th October 1979
Willoughby was an English Springer Spaniel, not a Kennel Club Pedigree but certainly a working farm pedigree. Pups were bred when more were needed for fieldwork. Willoughby was born at the White Horse pub in Sandhurst near Gloucester. The landlord used to categorise the pups when they were a few minutes old. Willoughby was rejected for working as it was thought he would have too much of a sense of humour....
